Alice

I saw my school's play last night, Alice. It's a creepy version of Alice in Wonderland with some comedy. It was so awesome to see my friends, who have been rehearsing for hours a day for the past month or two, finally perform. IT WAS AMAZING. I think I'm going back tonight to see it again. Everything really was that good: script, acting, costumes, makeup, set, casting, EVERYTHING. Pure magical genius.

UPDATE: I walked over a mile in the rain to see Alice again. I was too late, so I had to kill time outside for 45 minutes alone. I missed the first act, but the second was amazing. The actors, some of them my good friends, are really good! :)

About Updates-

I've found that I'm updating every other day. Check here for updates then. Cha-ching!

I have another deadly English paper. I've been trying hard to write/not actually writing much all day. It's due Tuesday and I've got about a paragraph. 4 to go!
Good news is that I have almost no homework for Tuesday, so I should be free to finish it up then. :) I'm not mad/hating the paper anymore, either.

Reality is Fear

No Country For Old Men
Scariest movie I have ever seen
It's reality is what is scary:
There is no music. You can hear every sound. The plot is slow, like life. He will get you.

Terrifying, amazing.

United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

If you haven't been, go.
If you've already been, go again.

If you already know it all, feel it.
If you've already felt it, learn.
If you've already felt and learned the Holocaust, go anyway.

Never forget.
"For me the Holocaust was not only a Jewish tragedy, but also a human tragedy. After the war, when I saw that the Jews were talking only about the tragedy of six million Jews, I sent letters to Jewish organizations asking them to talk also about the millions of others who were persecuted with us together - many of them only because they helped Jews." - Simon Wiesenthal

Never again.
"When I came to power, I did not want the concentration camps to become old age pensioners homes, but instruments of terror." - Adolf Hitler

Snow in March?

Snow day today was awesome. Sorry, PA, maybe you shouldn't be so darn warm!

I'm re-obsessed with Star Wars. I'm such a cool nerd.

I shoveled snow for two hours today. Afterward I felt like I'd been raped by a snowman: aching back, freezing cold.

...Sorry about that last one...

For Krista

I've always found that
Haikus are pretty crazy.
Don't you think Krista?

Blurb

Plan: Forget long, boring "life dumps". Procrastination is making this blog now worthwhile to anyone, especially myself. I feel obligated to write, but the more I feel this way, the more I put it off. Then I come back and have even more to write, and the cycle begins until the original post has to die.

New Idea: A phrase, sentence, thought, quote, brief description, anything short and sweet that fulfills my duty and desire to write.

Sound good?
