Miniminimini post...ummmmmm except not at the end

This is really short. Because I don't feel like writing. So yeah.

Uh, school is good. I'm like 90-95% done with my personal project. The Personal Project Fair is one week from today. Then it's all over!

Break is at the end of next week ANDICANTWAIT but yeah.

Vaughn's coming down tonight. He's staying through after Christmas sometime.

I like pandas.

Uh uh uh...I'm making more friends? Life is going well. It's almost time to do our preliminary choices for the IB program next year. I'm just gonna explain that really quickly...

So Middle School, 9th, and 10th grades make up the Middle Years Program for the International Baccalaureate program (IB). 11th and 12th are the like the actual IB Program. So we have to pick our classes, which are divided into 6 groups:

Group 1 - First Language (Language A1)
English A1
Spanish A1
French A1
Dutch A1

This is your native language. For me it's English (haha well duh...)

Group 2 - Second Modern Language
French A2
Spanish A2
Dutch A2
English A2 (non-native speakers)

French B
Spanish B
Dutch B
English B?

French/Spanish/Dutch ab initio*
Almost any other language ab initio*

*Course is designed for beginners (don't know anything about the language)

Group 3 - Social Sciences
History
Geography
Economics

Group 4 - Experimental Sciences
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
Environmental Systems and Societies

Group 5 - Mathematics
Math
Math Studies

Group 6 - Arts and Electives
IB Art
IB Theater
IB Music
IB Computer Science
OR ANY COURSE FROM GROUPS 1-4

In addition: each course can be taken at the Standard or Higher level. HL meets more times per 8-day cycle than SL and is generally harder (ie. more material, or more compositions, or more literature, etc.)

Most students take 3 HL and 3 SL, plus an AMDJ (Arts, Music, Drama, Journalism--NOT an elective; elective is separate) course. You aren't required to take any HL classes, and the max is 4, but only if you can make a good case why you should be allowed to take 4.

So now that I've confused you, I'll let you know what cours-I'll take your wallet! Haha no...these are the courses I think I might take:

English A1 Higher
French B Higher (possibly French A2 Standard)
IB Art Higher

Math Standard
History Standard
Biology Standard
AMDJ: ?

I would really like to take Spanish or Japanese ab initio though...we'll see what happens.

OK SO now that I've bored you and all that with IB blahblah and random junk...I dunno. There's not much else to talk about. Oh how about Christmas Break!

So through Christmas I'll be here in DC. As I said, Vaughn's coming down tonight. My grandparents from Florida are coming up on Christmas Eve. Then, the day after Christmas, we all go down to someplace in South Carolina to meet up with my cousins and family. Should be pretty fun.

Ok yeah I really need to end this post I'm even getting bored with it. So yeah that's my life for now.

WOOOO I'M FINALLY COMMENTINGGGGGGG

sorry to keep you waiting. blame mrs. shine and honors physics.

wow, well i don't even have to be that interesting to top the post or the comments cause they're all kind of yawnish.

haha well how about i actually think i followed the IB description pretty well...except i didn't exactly know what international baccalaureate was, but i went to their website and i must say that i love how it's like "IB Diploma Programme". like it was cool for the first two seconds and then it got kinda old because it' like okay NOBODY talks like that. haha.

but...yes, good choices with all your classes that you want to take. question though: what's like the difference between "math" and "math studies"? they sound exactly the same to me, haha.
ooooh you should take japanese! cause i was talking to some of my like friends the other day about pokemon games (haha yes and would you believe it they're like not SA people or you? they're like other real people who still play pokemon! hahaa...anyway) and one of them brought up something about how if nintendo wasn't stationed in the US as well as japan all the videogames would be like in JAPANESE! and i was like that'd be terrible because i don't know how to say anything besides konichiwa!

(if that's how you spell it)...haha anyway point of that entire thing was that like if you learned japanese you could teach it to me and then we could buy the japanese DP and use all the japanese cheat codes to get pokemon that don't exist yet and it'd be fabulousss.

dang...i'm getting shoved off the computer, but i shall finish my thoughts in a second comment when i returnn!

wooooo time to finish my possttt

now let's see, where did i leave off...something about pokemon and learning japanese and...

haha, i meant to say this before, but i like pandas too. i was real excited when i went to the atlanta zoo when i was like eight and they had pandas and they were like posing perfectly for pictures. it was kind of one of those things that was especially cool when you're eight and just kind of random in retrospect but...haha

christmas is exxxciting! (wow, i'm really into this triple-letter business...my b)
what do you want for christmas this year? haha at the top of my list is an air hockey table. lol. and the dark knight on dvd because that's pretty legit.
break starts for us this friday too and i can't wait cause i put up my christmas tree today and then i was like waiit i don't want to go back to school!
but that's awesome that you're making more friends! (wow, i jumped from christmas to school...hopefully you can sort of follow my train of thought haha) and that you're PP is almost done. are you gonna put pictures up or something? cause i'm interested, even if nobody else is. hahaha.

but back to break....we definitely need to have time to talk cause i feel like i haven't talked to you in forever! haha it'll be an IM date. yay!!!! because if your christmas is anything like mine, you're probably not doing anything that's soooo great that you won't have time to talk to mee.
cause i will be writing a bunch of sonnets about hitler, stalin, and franc and making a rube golberg device.
I AM KRISTA AND I CAN USE POWER TOOLS!

miss youu! talk to you laterrr <3

TAKE COMPUTER SCIENCE!
...but that's just me.

That's neat that you can pick from more languages than we can~ Or maybe not? I keep forgetting that we have Mandarin now. Not like it matters because I can't take it (my brain would explode!) D:
